Supporting Families Across Livonia
We are not a chain branch that happens to sit in your city. Ray’s Drugs is a Livonia pharmacy, and the people filling your prescription live and work here. That means you can walk in and speak to the pharmacist who actually handled it, which is the part no phone system replaces.

What Are Prescription Services?
Your prescriber sends it electronically to us, or you name the pharmacy holding your prescriptions and we move them across, refills included. We verify your coverage before filling, so the price you hear is the price you pay. Then either collect at the counter or have it delivered free. Your city runs to nearly 36 square miles, so sharing it with us is not the same as being round the corner. We also act as an extension of your healthcare team, providing refill reminders and personalized guidance that keep managing medications easy and convenient.

Who Benefits Most in Livonia?
Livonia has 93,118 residents and 22.6 percent of them are 65 or over, across 37,809 households. If you are managing four or five prescriptions at once, you are in good company here, and the coordination is where a pharmacy earns its keep.
Seniors
More than a fifth of the city is over 65. Synchronized refills and multi-dose packaging mean no weekly sorting, whether you collect or we deliver.
Busy Professionals
If your day runs on I-275 or Six Mile, delivery means a refill never has to become an evening errand.
Caregivers
Managing a parent's medication is easier when it is one file, one date and one number to call. Come in and we will set it up with you.
Chronic Conditions
Four or more medications is where timing and interactions get complicated. Bring the lot in and a pharmacist will go through it.
Common Health Conditions we Support
Several ongoing prescriptions usually means several refill dates and several chances to run out. We can move them all to a single monthly date, package them by day and time where that helps, and either hold them for collection or bring them to you.
Heart Health
Cardiovascular medication is where a missed fortnight shows up in a reading rather than in how you feel, which is exactly why it slips. Putting the refills on one date removes the commonest reason people fall behind. Working closely with you and your providers, we simplify medication management and improve adherence, providing ongoing support through every stage of chronic cardiovascular care.
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol
- Heart disease and post cardiac care
Diabetes
Diabetes carries the most moving parts of any regimen we handle, because your testing supplies and your medication rarely run out on the same day. We put the whole set on one date so nothing runs short mid-month. Type 1 or Type 2, we coordinate with your providers on a personalized treatment plan and help you stay on track with it.
- Type 1, including supplies
- Type 2, including oral and injectable therapy
Respiratory Health
Inhalers are what people most often discover they have run out of at the worst moment. Keeping a rescue and a maintenance inhaler on a predictable cycle removes that, and if you are short of breath you should not be driving anywhere. Asthma or COPD, we coordinate with your providers to support long-term respiratory care and help maintain healthy lung function.
- Asthma, rescue and maintenance inhalers
- COPD and long term respiratory care
Mental Health
Consistency matters more here than almost anywhere, and so does discretion. Nothing about the packaging or the delivery indicates what you are taking, and refills can be synchronized so there is no monthly errand attached. Anxiety, depression, and similar conditions take consistent treatment and the right medications, so we coordinate closely with your providers and offer personalized guidance throughout. Consistent treatment supports overall well-being, and personalized guidance keeps it sustainable.
- Anxiety and related conditions
- Depression and long term therapy

Frequently Asked Questions
Where exactly are you?
37672 Professional Center Drive, Suite 130B, Livonia, MI 48154. Walk in whenever we are open, Monday to Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday 9 to 2. No appointment needed to speak to a pharmacist.
Should I collect or have it delivered?
Whichever suits you, and you can switch between them. Delivery is free even though you are in the same city, which matters more than people expect given how large Livonia is.
How do I move my prescriptions from a chain?
One call or one visit. Give us the pharmacy name and your medications and we handle the transfer, refills included. Most complete the same day and you never contact them.
I have just come out of hospital.
Bring the discharge paperwork if you have it. We can usually fill the same day, and a pharmacist will check the new medications against what you were already taking.
Will you take my Medicare Part D plan?
Yes, along with Michigan Medicaid and most major commercial plans. With more than a fifth of the city over 65, Part D is what we handle most often.
Can I talk to a pharmacist about everything I take?
Yes, and we would encourage it. Bring every bottle, including anything over the counter. That full review is where the most useful changes usually come from.
What if my insurance rejects a claim?
We deal with it. Rejections usually come down to a plan change, a quantity limit or a missing prior authorization, and all three sit between the insurer and your prescriber rather than with you.
Can someone else collect for me?
Yes. Tell us in advance who will be coming and we will have it ready for them.
