OUR STORY
Founded by Khalil Chahine, Ray's Drugs has been a pillar of healthcare in Livonia, MI, for many years. Our inception was driven by a passion for community health and a vision to redefine pharmacy services. We started as a small pharmacy with a big dream - to become a healthcare hub where people don't just get their prescriptions filled but find a partner in their health journey.

Khalil (KC) Chahine
Owner/Pharmacist in Charge
KC earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University in 2015 and has been at the helm of Ray’s Drugs since 2019. For KC, being a pharmacist and a small business owner is not just a profession, but a calling. He is committed to the health and well-being of our community. Outside the pharmacy, KC enjoys creating cherished memories with his wife and two children and perfecting his golf swing. -

Sue Fawaz
Director of Pharmacy Operations
With over 14 years as a certified pharmacy technician, Sue has been a part of Ray’s Drugs for 6 years. She plays a vital role in our long-term care pharmacy, collaborating with pharmacists and long-term care facility staff to address any challenges. Outside work, Sue is a passionate Lions fan and loves spending time with her family and friends. -

Amy Ashton
Director of Pharmacy Administration
A Livonia local, Amy brings 12 years of experience as a certified pharmacy technician in both retail and long-term care settings. Since relocating to Michigan in 2010, Amy enjoys outdoor activities with her friends and family. Known for her humor and wit, she contributes to the fun atmosphere at Ray's Drugs while balancing her role with raising her three children.

Nicole Rivera
Staff Pharmacist
Nicole, a member of the Ray’s Drugs team for 8 years, earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from Wayne State University College of Pharmacy in 2015 after completing her Bachelor's in Biochemistry at the University of Michigan - Dearborn in 2010. With a total of 9 years in community pharmacy, Nicole enjoys traveling, cooking, and attending her two boys’ activities in soccer, baseball, and ballroom dance.

Jeff Sondergaard
Staff Pharmacist
A Livonia native, Jeff graduated from East Tennessee State University College of Pharmacy in 2019 with his Doctor of Pharmacy. He brings 7 years of retail pharmacy experience and 2 years in long-term care consulting. Jeff is an integral part of our pharmacy team, contributing his extensive knowledge and local insights.
